About Arun
I started designing at the age of 15, and over the span of my career worked with the top startups in the country including the likes of Amazon, PwC, Mahindra, Air Asia, Titan and Unilever.
I've run 2 design studios in the last decade and won 20+ awards regionally, nationally and internationally.
I won the young art director of the year twice from Bangalore Ad Club and built the brand identity for a startup that went on to be featured and funded on Shark Tank India.
I personally run multiple brands, and love being at the intersection of brands, design and AI.

I teach brand design the way it actually happens in the real world, not as isolated exercises, but as one continuous journey from a blank page to a launched brand.
Over 8 weeks, each student builds a complete brand of their own, and every class moves that project one step forward.
My method is learning by doing. Instead of lectures followed by homework, each session is a working session: I introduce a concept, show real-world examples of how professional studios approach it, and then we apply it directly to the student's own brand.
I give live feedback on their work-in-progress, the same way a creative director would review a designer's work at a studio. Students don't just learn what good branding looks like, they learn how to arrive at it, including the messy middle: rejected ideas, dead-end explorations, and the decisions that separate a decent brand from a memorable one.
Structure of the course
The 8 weeks follow the full arc of a real brand project:
Week 1: The idea: finding and sharpening a brand concept worth building
Week 2: Naming: naming techniques, shortlisting, and stress-testing names
Week 3: References: building moodboards and studying brands that get it right
Week 4: Design exploration: logo directions, type, and color experiments
Week 5: Doubling down: committing to the strongest direction and refining it
Week 6: Launch assets: social media kits, packaging/mockups, and brand touchpoints
Week 7: Final polish: consistency checks and tightening every detail
Week 8: Presentation: presenting the brand the way you would to a real client or investor
Each class typically runs in three parts: a short review of the previous week's progress, a focused lesson with examples, and hands-on work with my direct feedback.
What makes my classes different
By the end of 8 weeks, students don't leave with notes, they leave with a finished, portfolio-ready brand they built themselves, plus the confidence to present it. I focus heavily on decision-making: why one name beats another, why a design direction works, how to defend creative choices. That judgment is what employers and clients actually pay for, and it's rarely taught.
Who this is for
These classes are designed for design students, college students, recent graduates building a portfolio, and adults — including aspiring entrepreneurs who want to brand their own business idea. No prior design experience is required, just curiosity and commitment; I adapt the depth of each week to the student's level, whether they're a complete beginner or a working designer wanting to sharpen their branding skills.
