About Julian
My name is Julian Mr M, and I have dedicated over 25 years of my life to teaching, performing, DJing and sharing Latin dance.
I am the founder of Ritmo Latino London and the creator of the Connection, Rhythm & Flow methodology which is a way of teaching that helps students understand dance beyond just steps and routines. For me, dance is about connection: connection to yourself, to the music, to your partner, to the culture and to the energy of the room.
Over the years, I have taught hundreds of thousands of students in different countries, trained many teachers and helped develop some of the strongest social dancers and performers in the UK Latin dance scene and beyond.
My structured syllabus focuses on technique, musicality, body movement, partnerwork, confidence and quality of movement.
I teach because I believe dance can change people’s lives. It can give you confidence, discipline, joy, self-expression and a sense of belonging. My goal is not just to teach you moves, but to help you become the best dancer you can be... with clarity, purpose and real understanding.
Whether you are stepping onto the dancefloor for the first time or looking to take your dancing to a professional level, I will guide you with experience, structure and passion.
My mission is simple: to help you connect, feel the rhythm and find your flow.
