About Shamsa
I’m a UK-based educator and founder of STS Academy, with over six years of experience helping students achieve academic excellence and secure places at some of London’s most prestigious grammar and independent schools.
My background in healthcare and STEM, combined with extensive experience in education, has shaped my analytical, structured and results-driven approach to teaching Mathematics.
Throughout my career, I have supported students of varying abilities, including those with additional learning needs, helping them overcome academic challenges, improve their grades and develop lasting confidence.
I founded STS Academy because I believe exceptional education should go beyond simply passing examinations. My goal is to equip students with the knowledge, independence and problem-solving skills they need to succeed throughout their academic journey.
I am now extending my expertise to families in Dubai, supporting students following British and international curricula through personalized academic guidance and high-quality teaching.
My philosophy is simple: every student has the potential to excel with the right guidance, high expectations and a personalized approach.

My Mathematics lessons are designed to deliver measurable academic progress, build confidence and help students achieve their full potential.
With over six years of teaching experience, I provide personalised lessons tailored to each student’s ability, learning style and school curriculum, including the British National Curriculum, GCSE, IGCSE, A-Level and IB Mathematics.
Every student begins with an initial assessment to identify strengths, knowledge gaps and areas for improvement. From there, I develop a structured learning plan with clear academic targets, regular progress reviews and targeted examination practice.
My approach combines strong mathematical foundations, problem-solving techniques and exam strategies to help students improve their grades and become confident, independent learners.
Having successfully supported students in securing places at some of London’s leading grammar and independent schools, I bring the same high standards of academic preparation to families in Dubai.
