About Valentina

I am a professional Flute tutor with more than 21 years of teaching experience. I teach School students, College students, and working professionals, helping them learn flute in a structured and enjoyable way.

My tutoring method is student-centred and flexible. I understand that every student has different goals, so I customise lessons to suit individual needs. I focus on correct posture, breath control, tone quality, finger technique, rhythm, and musical understanding.

Along with flute lessons, I teach related subjects such as basic music theory, sight reading, rhythm training, ear training, and performance techniques. I also help students prepare for exams, competitions, and live performances. My lessons combine theory, practice, and regular evaluation.

My unique ability is creating a positive learning environment that builds confidence and discipline. I guide students on how to practice smartly and avoid common mistakes. My aim is to help students improve steadily and develop a long-term connection with music.

About the lesson

My teaching approach for flute is student-focused and based on communication, creativity, and flexibility. I aim to make learning the flute enjoyable, structured, and meaningful for every student.

Strong communication helps students progress smoothly. I explain concepts clearly and repeat them in different ways if needed. I encourage students to ask questions and share their thoughts. Regular feedback helps students understand their progress and stay motivated.

Creativity plays an important role in my teaching. I include creative exercises, rhythm patterns, and familiar tunes to make lessons engaging. I help students explore musical expression, dynamics, and tone control. This approach builds both skill and confidence.

Flexibility allows lessons to match individual learning styles. I adjust lesson plans based on the student’s pace, strengths, and challenges. I support beginners with patience and guide advanced students with higher-level techniques.

Flute training covers breathing control, posture, finger technique, articulation, scales, rhythm, sight reading, and musical interpretation. I emphasise healthy playing habits and consistent practice.

Along with flute, I teach supporting subjects such as basic music theory, ear training, rhythm practice, and performance preparation. These skills help students become independent and well-rounded musicians.

My goal is to create a positive and supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable, confident, and inspired.
