Poppy was a student of mine for three years, during which time she achieved an outstanding level of Spanish as indeed of French. Since then she has gone on to sixth form college where she has continued to expand and refine her knowledge of the language. Although I no longer have the privilege of teaching Poppy, I very recently had the opportunity to converse with her in Spanish at length, and I was astonished by the level of fluency and spontaneity she has gained since completing the GCSE course with me in 2024.
I have no doubt that Poppy would excel as a tutor. She has high expectations, both of herself and of others, and her attention to grammatical precision is second to none. She is also a people person who is patient, calm and empathetic, and seems to know instinctively how to get the best out of others.
