About Munch
Advanced Math, Physics, and Software Engineering Tutor
I am a technical educator bridging the gap between rigorous engineering and advanced computing, holding a BS in Civil Engineering and currently a candidate for a Master’s in Computer Science. My deep analytical foundation is backed by a history of competitive excellence as a multi-time mathematics award recipient. I specialize in breaking down complex concepts across math, physics, full-stack programming (including C++, Python, Java, and PHP), and robust backend infrastructure like NGINX and Node.js. Whether you are mastering university-level calculus, building independent websites via WordPress and Ghost, or deploying server-side architectures, I tailor my approach to turn intimidating logic into practical, real-world skills.

My Teaching Philosophy & Techniques
I do not believe in rote memorization or just handing over answers. My goal is to build independent problem-solvers. To do this, I use three core techniques:
The "Why" Behind the Logic: Whether we are deriving an equation in Calculus, calculating structural loads in Physics, or debugging a multi-level subdomain routing issue in NGINX, I always teach the underlying principles. When you understand why a formula or system works, you don't have to memorize it.
The Blueprint Method (Pseudocode First): In programming, syntax is just a tool, but logic is universal. Before writing a single line of code in C++, Python, or Assembly, we map out the logic in plain English. This removes the overwhelm of syntax errors and focuses purely on building strong algorithmic thinking.
Guided Discovery: Instead of showing you how to fix a bug or solve an equation right away, I ask targeted questions that guide you to spot the error or the next step yourself. This builds the confidence you need to tackle problems when you are on your own.
