About Annie
I have worked as a classroom teacher, for Newport Mesa Unified School District and other school districts in California and Idaho for over twenty years. I currently live in Laguna Beach, where I’m enjoying the fresh So Cal breezes and bright sunshine after living in cold Coeur d'Alene (North Idaho) for seven years. I love my work as a teacher and children’s author. I get to inspire students, helping them to learn and grow and I also am blessed with a most amazing opportunity to write fun stories for kids. I also serve on an educational advisory board for Vooks, a company dedicated to providing the best online stories for children and families. I love hiking, walks on the beach, snorkeling, playing board games, a good book, movie, Mexican food and having fun times with friends, my grown children, and grandchildren. and writing stories!! I have worked in classrooms and as a private tutor, successfully helping students discover the joy of reading and writing well.
