I am an award-winning South African novelist. I am fluent in both Xhosa and English. I am passionate about literature. The novella for which I won a SALA Award in 2021 is written entirely in Xhosa.

About Lihle
I am a 31-year-old fellow from Bhisho, Eastern Cape. I am fluent in both English and Xhosa. I am passionate about literature, hence I founded a publishing company called Ngqa Phambili Publishing, and created an online Xhosa journal called Soluncwadi, for which I am the editor. Soluncwadi publishes short stories, essays, and poems written by myself and 15 other South African writers.

As an award-winning novelist, editor, poet, essayist, and publisher, I am good in story-telling, grammar, and creative writing. I have also helped both young and old writers publish their own books in Xhosa. I am determined to help more people understand Xhosa and the proper orthography of the language. I have published two novels so far.
