About Filgin

Hello, my name is Dr Filgin George. I am a qualified Ayurvedic doctor and educator with formal training in classical Ayurveda from India. I hold a BAMS and MD in Ayurveda, and I have worked both as a clinician and as an Assistant Professor and Head of Department in an Ayurvedic medical college in Kerala. This allows me to combine traditional Ayurvedic theory with real clinical experience and practical application. I am passionate about teaching authentic, classical Ayurveda in a clear and structured way. I want to help students truly understand the principles behind Ayurveda — not just memorise texts — so they can apply this knowledge confidently in practice or daily life. I mainly teach: • The foundations of Ayurveda (Dosha, Dhatu, Mala, Agni, Ojas) • Ayurvedic anatomy and physiology • Marma therapy and therapeutic anatomy • Dravyaguna (Ayurvedic pharmacology) • Clinical diagnosis and case discussion • Lifestyle, diet, and preventive Ayurveda My aim is to guide students to develop a strong foundation, clear thinking, and practical understanding of Ayurveda so they can use it responsibly, ethically, and effectively. Hello, I’m Dr Filgin George, a qualified Ayurvedic doctor and educator with a strong academic and clinical background in classical Ayurveda. I hold a BAMS and MD (Ayurveda) from India and have worked as an Assistant Professor and Head of Department in an Ayurvedic medical college in Kerala. Alongside teaching, I have several years of experience as a clinical practitioner, treating patients through personalised Ayurvedic diagnosis and therapy. My lessons are ideal for: • Ayurveda students (BAMS / MD / diploma level) • Practitioners who want deeper theoretical or clinical understanding • Wellness professionals, therapists, and yoga teachers • Anyone genuinely interested in learning authentic Ayurveda I teach Ayurveda in a clear, structured, and practical way, connecting classical texts with real clinical examples. My focus is on helping you truly understand the principles — not just memorise them.
