About Yong Yi
I am a friendly and motivating person who understands the struggle of Mathematics as I was in that position in the past, which enables me to understand most of the problems that students will be facing in this subject. I like Mathematics since young due to its challenges, so I will try my best to make that the same for my students.
I will be filling the class with cheerful atmosphere as well, so students are welcome to fill the lessons with jokes! I mean, who likes a boring zoom meeting with the tutor speaking monotonously in your screen, right??
Regarding tutoring experience, I have received proper tutor training and materials from University of Melbourne through the VCESS program. I was given the opportunity to tutor VCE students coming from different backgrounds.

My lessons are really flexible in terms of time schedule and topics. Students get to choose what they want to learn with me, which can be any topics that they are not confident in or questions that are confusing! Students also set their lesson timings and I will fit it in my schedule.
Of course, I will give out the appropriate amount of tutoring based on the unfamiliar topic first, then give out the suitable amount of solvable questions to the students. Any questions related to the previous topic will definitely be addressed immediately if needed.
Recommended length of a lesson is 60 minutes to 90 minutes. Mathematics lessons are for any years up to Year 12.
