Hi. My name is Maureen Buchanan. I am a qualified Primary School Teacher with teaching and tutoring experience. I have worked in Primary Schools, teaching students at all levels based on the current Curriculum. I have also tutored Primary School students in their homes and in a Kip McGrath facility in my locality. My typical lesson goes for one hour. I include verbal instructions, visual aids and activities in my lessons and I keep up with my student's progress. I focus on the student's requirements and base the lesson on the areas where they need to improve. I always work towards increasing the student's knowledge, abilities and confidence as we move through the lessons. After getting to know my students I use positive communication skills to interact with them.
