About Megan
I am a 3rd grade teacher. I am currently in my 5th year of teaching. I taught 4th grade for my first 4 years, this is my first year teaching 3rd grade. My school departmentalizes, I teach math and science. In college, I worked in 2nd and 4th grade. I have always loved working with kids. I have worked at summer camps and drama camps.

Fractions: Students will be learning to identify fractions, partition shapes, create equivalent fractions, and more. This class will be most beneficial for students in 3rd and 4th grade. Each student will be given challenging and supported work to grow their knowledge around fractions. Students will learn through the use of online tools, one on one instruction, and group work. All students will receive the appropriate level of instruction to ensure success.
Multiplication and Division: Students will be working on their multiplication and division skills. The class with start with a basic understanding of the concepts behind multiplication and division. Students will be taught multiple strategies for each skill. Students will gain problem solving skills, that assess both modeling and reasoning. Students will be able to connect mathematical concepts and build a deeper understanding. Students will learn through the use of online tools, one on one instruction, and group work. All students will receive the appropriate level of instruction to ensure success.
