I enjoy working with a full range of age groups. I excel with High School and Middle School students but have worked with Elementary students, as well. I like to make the information as relevant to the student's life as possible to promote active engagement in work. I hope to incite a sense of an honest learning experience that allows students to succeed.
I have a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of California: Santa Cruz. I have always been passionate about working with people and helping in any way I can. I am currently pursuing a Master's Degree in Inspired Learning and Teaching (Education) at National University. Along with that, I am receiving my History/ Social Science Single Subject Teaching Credential. I have been substituting for the past two years for a vast range of subjects but primarily for History/ Social Science classes. I have long-termed sub for U.S. History which included lesson planning, differentiating teaching for Spceial Needs students, and classroom management skills.
