About Oliver

With a decade of ESL teaching experience, I help high school and college students build proficiency, confidence, and practical communication skills in English. My approach emphasises personalised learning, tailoring lessons to meet the student’s level, goals, and preferred learning methods.

I integrate grammar, vocabulary, speaking, reading, and writing exercises with interactive activities and real-life examples to make lessons engaging and relevant.

About the lesson

I adopt a C³P teaching methodology—Creativity, Communication, Compassion, Problem-solving—for ESL learning. Creativity is promoted through storytelling, role-playing, and project-based exercises that inspire students to express themselves confidently and develop imaginative use of language.

Communication is central to my approach. I include discussions, debates, and collaborative exercises to strengthen fluency, comprehension, and practical communication skills. Compassion ensures lessons are tailored to individual learners, providing guidance, encouragement, and constructive feedback to foster confidence and motivation.

Problem-solving is integrated through scenario-based tasks, real-life exercises, and analytical challenges, helping students apply English skills effectively while developing critical thinking. I also include related subjects such as reading comprehension, writing, and vocabulary enrichment to provide holistic learning.

This methodology equips students to be creative, confident, empathetic, and capable of applying English effectively in diverse contexts.
