About Oliver
I am an enthusiastic Saxophone tutor with 7 years of professional experience and a record of successfully teaching around 150 students. Teaching music gives me great satisfaction because I see it as a way to inspire creativity and confidence.
My teaching methodology is structured and goal-oriented. I focus on breath control, embouchure development, tone quality, articulation techniques, and rhythm accuracy. I also include regular scale practice and technical exercises to strengthen finger agility.
To ensure complete learning, I teach music theory, chord understanding, and ear training. I introduce different musical styles such as jazz, blues, classical, and contemporary music. This helps students become versatile musicians.
I create a friendly and supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions. My goal is not just technical improvement but also helping students develop their own musical identity.

I teach Saxophone using a disciplined and motivating methodology centred on Communication, Accountability, and Integrity. I begin with essential breathing exercises and long-tone practice to develop a rich and controlled sound. Gradually, I introduce scales, arpeggios, rhythm drills, and performance pieces.
I clearly explain how each exercise improves technique and musical understanding. Students are given weekly goals and structured assignments to maintain accountability. I carefully track their progress and provide constructive feedback.
Integrity guides my teaching, ensuring honest advice and consistent support. Along with Saxophone lessons, I teach Music Theory, Jazz studies, Ensemble skills, and Stage Performance preparation to build well-rounded musicians.
