About Sienna
I am an undergraduate Bachelor of Education student and currently work as an assistant teacher at a primary school, where I support students with their learning on a daily basis. I am passionate about helping students feel confident in math and enjoy learning in a positive, encouraging environment.
I am patient, approachable, and organized, and I understand that every student learns differently. I take the time to build strong relationships with my students, explain concepts clearly, and support them at their own pace. My goal is to help students not only improve their math skills, but also feel more confident and capable in the classroom.
I pride myself on being reliable, well-prepared, and professional, and I work closely with students and families to support each learner’s progress.

I use a clear, supportive, and student-centred approach to maths tutoring, focusing on building confidence and understanding. I break concepts down step-by-step, use worked examples, and adapt lessons to suit each student’s learning style and pace.
Lessons are typically 60 minutes and focus on reinforcing school content, addressing gaps in understanding, and practising problem-solving skills.
I have experience supporting primary to Year 9 students, particularly those who feel unsure or anxious about maths, and aim to create a positive, encouraging learning environment.
