About Austin
I am a recent college graduate from Ohio University with a Bachelor's in Music Composition. I am based out of southeast Ohio with dreams of moving to New England. My primary instrument is the tuba in which I have performed a variety of styles from classical to jazz. My composition portfolio also varies, from short piano miniatures to full-length concert band pieces. I believe there is no bad music, just music that needs understanding to fully appreciate.

I like to let students create their own compositions so that they can find their own way through the world of music theory. I aim to teach people beginning their music journey so they can understand the basics early on. Topics will start with the knowledge level of the student, but can/will expand into topics like sonata form, set theory, etc.
