About Raphael
I have a bachelor's degree in History, graduating to become a teacher. In my academic trajectory I tried to get in touch with a diversity of theoretical and methodological approaches within the historiography from History of Culture to History of Ideas, going through economic, political and social approaches. I also sought interdisciplinarity with other areas of study, especially Literature, Arts, Social Sciences and Philosophy of Science. I assist high school students with reviews and tutoring since 2017.

I structure my classes based on the basic curriculum of elementary and high school, but approaching each content based on the interests of each student (eg connecting with literature, music, a more political approach, contact with imagery and archaeological sources, etc.).
I use the constructivist method, treating the student as central to the teaching-learning relationship, stimulating autonomous research, understanding the humanities as sciences of critical thinking, establishing debates and dialogue with the student - always adapting the approach to the rhythm, needs and interests of the student. I always try to bring a little bit of the most updated in terms of research in order to nuance and problematize the basic curriculum.
