Angie is my Italian language tutor and I have learnt more from her than I did from completing the Italian language tree on Duolingo! Angie is an excellent teacher and intuitively knows when to challenge you and when to praise you. She blends teaching you about Italian language with culture and explains grammar in a way that has increased my understanding exponentially. On top of that Angie is really friendly, warm and personable. Every lesson challenges me intellectually (as they should) and I thoroughly enjoy them and come away from them knowing so much more than I thought I could! Before meeting Angie, I was doubtful about how much a tutor could really help you learn to speak Italian; however, now, I don't know if you can really learn to speak Italian without a personal tutor. Angie is so supportive and encouraging, whilst always making sure that you understand and correcting your pronunciation when needed ;-) I had reached a point with learning Italian where I was at a loss as to how to improve and Angie has reinvigorated my motivation and passion to be fluent in Italian (one day!) I highly recommend 1:1 lessons with Angie as she tailors your lessons to your strengths and weaknesses and makes sure that every lesson bolsters your confidence whilst also ensuring that you extend your learning and understanding. If you think you might benefit from personal tuition, I cannot recommend Angie highly enough. Grazie mille Angie, sei una bravissima insegnante :-)
