About Rowan

Rowan King is the Director and Principal Lawyer of RK Law, which he founded in 2017. Rowan manages offices in Cairns and Caloundra. With extensive experience in Family Law, Domestic Violence, and Criminal Law, Rowan has built a reputation for providing clear, strategic advice and strong advocacy during some of life’s most complex and challenging legal matters. Admitted to both the Supreme Court of Queensland and the High Court of Australia, Rowan combines technical expertise with a practical, client-focused approach. When he's not in court, Rowan enjoys spending time with his daughter, riding his motorbike, exploring new restaurants, and finding the perfect coffee.

About the lesson

With years of experience teaching and mentoring students through various universities and The College of Law, I offer private tuition that’s practical, easy to understand, and focused on helping you succeed. My sessions have been described as “super helpful” and “easy to follow,” cutting through the complexity to make the law clear and manageable. I offer flexible times, including evenings and weekends, via Teams or in-person on the Sunshine Coast. Sessions are $100 per hour. I offer flexible times, including nights and weekends, and can meet in person anywhere on the Sunshine Coast. For students outside the Sunshine Coast, sessions are available via video call (Teams).
