About Vanessa
"Because music requires an authentic connection to words, I find myself teaching Spanish as a way to bridge the gap between sounds and meanings. I have helped many students over my 13 years of playing music and teaching, including those who start from scratch. My own path from Lima to Australia informs how I explain the nuances of accent and intonation. I focus on conversation-focused learners, teens, and absolute beginners who want to move past basic grammar.
