About Tanya
I love music. It has been a nearly all-encompassing part of my professional life from my first day as a student at the Queensland Conservatorium. It is my goal to deliver music lessons in such a way that is both educational and enjoyable, and caters directly to your needs and wants as a student of music. I hope we can discover or rediscover together the joy of classical composition, musicology, or woodwind studies. Holistic, theoretical, and practical lessons are all key in grasping both the fundamentals, and finer points of musicology. A lesson may be 30-60 minutes long, and can be tailored to the needs of the student in content, duration, and frequency. I am in my fifth year of teaching theory and woodwind, and have worked with students of all ages, levels, and motivations.
