About Kevin
Hi, I’m Kevin Nazaire, a drummer and percussionist with over 12 years of experience and a Bachelor’s degree in Music from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth. Throughout my musical career, I’ve studied and performed a wide variety of styles including jazz, funk, fusion, rock, and contemporary music. Performing and studying music at the collegiate level has given me a strong foundation in technique, rhythm, musicality, and performance.
I am passionate about helping students achieve their goals behind the drum set. Whether you’re a complete beginner, returning to drumming after time away, or looking to improve your skills, I provide personalized lessons tailored to your experience level and interests. My teaching approach focuses on building strong fundamentals, developing confidence, and making the learning process enjoyable. I strive to create a positive environment where students can grow as musicians while having fun playing the music they love.

With over 12 years of drumming experience, I focus on making lessons engaging, practical, and enjoyable. You’ll learn the fundamentals that every great drummer needs while also working on the styles and songs that inspire you. My goal is to help you make consistent progress, build good habits, and most importantly, have fun playing music.
