About Mahmoud

I am a passionate and experienced high school Mathematics teacher with a genuine love for helping students reach their full potential. As a qualified teacher, I have extensive experience teaching Mathematics in accordance with the NSW curriculum and understand the challenges students often face in the classroom.

What I enjoy most about teaching Math is helping students overcome the belief that they are “just not good at Math.” I believe every student has the ability to succeed when concepts are explained in a way that makes sense to them. There is nothing more rewarding than seeing a student go from feeling confused or lacking confidence to genuinely understanding a concept and enjoying the subject.

My teaching approach focuses on building strong foundations, identifying individual learning gaps, and adapting my explanations to suit each student’s learning style. I aim to make Math less intimidating, more engaging, and ultimately something students can feel confident and successful in.

About the lesson

I take a holistic and personalised approach to tutoring, tailoring my teaching methods to suit each student’s individual learning style and needs. I identify areas of weakness and focus on addressing learning gaps to build confidence, understanding, and academic performance.

All lessons are aligned with the NSW curriculum, ensuring students stay ahead of their schoolwork and are well-prepared for assessments and exams. My goal is not just to help students improve their marks, but to develop the skills and confidence needed to excel in the classroom.
