About Tyler
While I was studying at University, there were lots of things I found interesting. I looked into computer programming, music production, architecture, business, and statistics. I ended up finishing my degree in psychology, because I was drawn to the many applications of studying the human mind. Although I did a little in the study of many fields, I still find great value in all the courses I took. Each one gave me a new perspective on how I can understand the world.

I have always enjoyed the real-life applications of mathematical concepts. I can help students see that their math assignment is more than just boring numbers. Mathematics are behind the way that the Eiffel tower was built, man landed on the moon, and even explains the catchy sound of your favorite song!
For example, instead of just telling the student that complex (or imaginary) numbers start at the square root of negative one, I help them see that these numbers are essential when designing something like their smartphone.
