About Harrison
I would consider my teaching style to be empathetic and encouraging. We have all faced challenging exams and assignments, and removing anxiety from the equation makes preparation much easier. I typically provide 1-2 hour lessons centered around the particular materials, concepts, or challenges the student presents prior to our meeting. Specific lesson plans will be geared towards the student's timeline for task completion. I also complete regular lessons throughout the duration of a course predicated on preparing for upcoming material. In general, I try to focus on helping students to understand the process of problem solving rather than a specific answer.
