About Emrys
I hold a bachelor’s degree in music with a specialization in piano performance and have over 8 years of experience teaching students of all levels. My passion for piano began in childhood and has grown into a fulfilling career dedicated to nurturing musical talent and confidence in others. Throughout my teaching journey, I have worked with beginners and advanced players alike, customizing lessons to suit each individual’s goals and learning style. I believe in creating a positive and encouraging environment where students feel motivated to explore and express themselves through music. My teaching focuses on developing strong technical skills, musical interpretation, and sight-reading abilities. I emphasize the importance of both practice and creativity, helping students not only play notes but also bring emotion and personality to their performances. Beyond teaching, I remain actively engaged in music through performance and continuous study, which allows me to bring fresh ideas and inspiration into the lesson room. My mission is to inspire a lifelong love of piano and music in every student I work with.
