About Keitu

My name is Keitumetse Gladys Sabela, a qualified and registered South African educator based in Kimberley, holding a Bachelor of Education degree from Sol Plaatje University. I am registered with the South African Council for Educators (SACE), which reflects my commitment to professional and ethical teaching standards.
My journey into education was never accidental — it was a calling. I have always believed that every child deserves a teacher who sees their potential, even before they see it themselves. That belief is what drives me into the classroom every single day.
I specialize in the Intermediate Phase, with a strong foundation in Natural Sciences & Technology, Mathematics, and English First Additional Language. Being bilingual in both English and Setswana allows me to connect with learners in a deeply personal way — bridging language barriers that so often stand between a student and their breakthrough moment.
What excites me most about teaching is the transformation I witness in students — that moment when confusion becomes clarity, when a struggling learner suddenly understands. That moment is why I teach.
I also hold a valid Police Clearance Certificate and First Aid training, because I believe that a great teacher is not only knowledgeable, but also trustworthy and responsible — someone parents can confidently place their children with.
Teaching, for me, is not just a profession. It is my purpose.
