About SHARMILA
I am a Bachelor’s degree graduate with 2 years of teaching experience and over 9 years in the education industry, including working with leading international schools in Hyderabad.
As a mom myself, I understand that every child learns differently and needs the right mix of patience, encouragement, and guidance. I aim to make learning simple, comfortable, and engaging, while helping children build strong concepts and confidence.

I believe children learn best when they understand a concept rather than simply memorizing it. Being a mother to a 5-year-old, I approach my students to make learning simple, interactive, and relatable by connecting lessons to everyday examples and encouraging children to ask questions freely. I have 2 years of teaching experience and over 9 years of experience in the education industry, including working with leading international schools in Hyderabad.
My experience in supplementary education research and planning has also helped me understand different learning approaches and how concepts can be made more engaging for children.
My classes are structured around the individual needs and learning pace of each student. I usually begin by understanding the child's current knowledge of the topic, explain the concept step-by-step, work through examples together, and then use practice questions or activities to check their understanding. I also focus on revisiting concepts where required rather than rushing to complete a syllabus.
One of my strengths is my ability to connect with children and explain concepts in a simple, patient, and practical way. I aim to create a comfortable learning environment where children are not afraid of making mistakes or asking questions. My focus is not only on improving marks, but also on building confidence, curiosity, and strong fundamentals.
I offer classes for school children from Grades 1–7. I can support students across all subjects, with a particular focus on Science, Social Sciences, and Mathematics. Classes can also include homework support, concept clarification, revision, and preparation for school assessments.
