About KrishJignesh
I am someone who likes to have fun while having fun, but focus on work while working. During lessons, I maintain a professional environment, but I am always open to make the environment fun and exciting when playing lesson related games, etc. If you're goofing off during lessons, or disturbing others' learning time, I will ask you to leave, but if during the games, or in the beginning of class, talking with classmates, etc is fine. In general, if you respect my time, I will respect your time, and if you focus on work while working, we both will focus on fun while having fun

I like to involve students in games, as they foster a competitive nature with learning. There's nothing more students like than a reward, so I believe in a reward system such as brownie points, or giving out raffle tickets for someone who answers questions. My lesson plan would start with a quick summary of what we are gonna do today, and then ask students if they know anything about the topics. This lets me know how much students know the concept or not. Accordingly, I can go more in depth or go over the main topics and move onto topics they are struggling with most.I use a combination of slideshow and whiteboard, and being a student in math class, I know it can get boring, so there will be student involvement every now and then, and the main thing is to make sure everyone is getting the lesson. Then, I would try and explain the logic behind a new concept first, and then go into example problems of the different subsections of the concept to show how to tackle each kind of problem. Homework will challenge students to actually know the concepts as opposed to simply plug-n-chug equations as they should really get why they are using that equation, etc. Homework will be graded based on completion but I will randomly check one problem and correct that based on accuracy, but the students don't know which one, so that they do all the problems. Hw won't be too long, but more meaningful and short. The next day, before lesson summary, we will go over any tricky problems the students have and I will ask students to answer them first, then I will explain them.
