About Alline
Holding Bachelor’s degrees in Music, I provide a structured and professional approach to guitar instruction, combining academic rigour with practical experience of 8 years. My lessons focus on developing solid fundamentals—posture, finger placement, chord transitions, strumming patterns, rhythm, and tone—while gradually introducing advanced techniques, improvisation, and composition. I integrate music theory in an accessible and practical way, linking concepts to songs and exercises to enhance understanding.
Each lesson is tailored to the student’s goals, learning style, and pace, ensuring steady progress and engagement. I emphasise expressive playing, performance readiness, and musical confidence, helping students communicate through their instrument. Ear training, sight-reading, and improvisation are included to develop well-rounded musicianship. I explore multiple genres, from classical and jazz to rock, blues, and contemporary styles, broadening students’ musical vocabulary. I provide structured practice routines, constructive feedback, and strategies for overcoming challenges. My teaching balances discipline, technical skill, and artistic freedom. I celebrate milestones and foster perseverance, curiosity, and self-expression.
Students develop confidence not only in playing but also in performing, improvising, and creating music independently. I believe that teaching is mentorship as well as instruction. Over time, learners gain both technical mastery and a deeper understanding of music. My ultimate goal is to inspire students to express themselves fully, confidently, and creatively through guitar.
