About Nia
I’m a singing tutor with over 8 years of experience and hold an Advanced Diploma in Singing. I specialize in teaching young children and early teens, using creative and playful methods to make learning fun. My lessons often include games, movement, and storytelling to help students grasp pitch, rhythm, and vocal basics in an engaging way. I love working with folk songs, Disney tunes, musicals, and other age-appropriate music that inspires young voices. My approach focuses on building confidence, improving listening skills, and creating joy in music-making. I believe every child can shine with the right encouragement and support. In my lessons, I create a safe and exciting space where kids feel comfortable to explore their voices. I encourage them to express themselves freely while learning solid vocal technique. Watching young singers grow and enjoy music is the most rewarding part of my work. I’m excited to help your child discover the fun and magic of singing!

My teaching approach focuses on building confidence, improving pitch accuracy, and developing vocal expression. For students who are also instrumentalists or serious music learners, I tailor techniques to fit their unique needs. We work on breathing exercises to support strong, controlled singing and vocal health routines to keep their voices safe and flexible.
These routines help singers maintain stamina during long performances and rehearsals. I use ear training apps to sharpen their listening skills and metronomes to improve timing and rhythm. Recording devices allow students to hear their progress clearly, making it easier to spot areas for growth.
This approach helps students connect deeply with their music. They learn to trust their voice and express emotion with power and clarity. Whether preparing for auditions or performances, these tools and techniques make a big difference. I encourage steady practice and celebrate every step forward. Together, we build a strong foundation for lasting vocal success.
