About Alyssa
I’ve been learning Japanese since 2000, and it has been a passion of mine since. I got a BA in Japanese at BYU and I’m a trained and licensed teacher. I’ve been teaching HS Japanese since 2015 and I’ve been teaching Japanese since my college days. I have experience teaching online, in person, individuals and groups. Having learned the language myself, I feel equipped to help others learn and understand the language better.

I learned Japanese myself starting in HS, driven by my passion for Anime and Japanese culture. I currently teach Japanese in HS and hope to spread my knowledge to more people so they can reach their goals! My husband is from Japan and we are teaching our son to be bilingual. I can help you!
