About Ying Ying
I started dancing since I was 3. I danced at a ballet school in Hong Kong before transferring to Interlochen Arts Academy when I was 16. My parents hired a college application manager to help me but she didn’t understand the process of applying to art school, thus I learned everything by myself. I applied to schools in the peak of the pandemic through video auditions and was accepted into every program (both US and UK) I applied for. I now go to the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music, working towards a BFA in ballet. Since there weren’t many people who fully understood the process of applying to art programs in America for international art students, I want to provide my knowledge to help other people.
