About Leigh
"Scales and modes are often taught as rigid math, yet I treat them like the colorful language I studied at Belmont University. Fingerpicking and acoustic technique feel much more natural once you stop overthinking the mechanics behind the strings. My 13 years of playing began with peeling apart tabs and old cassette tapes to hear what was really happening.
That balance between raw intuition and formal structure defines how I work with students today. I prefer keeping things honest and energetic because music should never feel like a chore. You can find me bringing my own amp and pedalboard directly to your living room for our work together."
