About Caroline
Hi! I am a barred attorney with experience in criminal defense, prosecution, and civil litigation practice in consumer protection. In addition to a JD, I have a certificate in advance legal research and writing as well as a certificate in ChildFirst forensic interviews.
I started teaching others as a young teenager when I taught horseback riding lessons to beginners. By the time I turned 17, I was teaching children and adults the basic concepts of horsemanship as well as coaching competition riders. My teaching skills come naturally, and I am in tune with my students’ strengths, weaknesses, and learning styles. My undergraduate background in studio art gives me a unique perspective as an attorney, and I am able to connect with people from different educational backgrounds to explain concepts in unconventional ways.

I tailor my lessons to my student and their needs. Depending on the student’s level of education, goals, and experience, I will break down basic legal concepts into easy to digest ideas. I will also edit essays, briefs, and memos with constructive feedback. I will ask my student what they think and walk through their thought process with them to hone analytical thinking skills.
