About Benjamin

I am a RIBA Part 2 Architectural Assistant at Foster + Partners in London after graduating from Unit 14 at The Bartlett School of Architecture MArch programme with a Distinction. I also graduated with my Bachelor’s degree from The Manchester School of Architecture with First Class Honours.

My professional background is centred on experience within design teams that strive for architectural design innovation, in offices both in London and Copenhagen.

Through online sessions, my aim is to help you progress quickly and feel more confident within your architectural education and skillset based on my own experience and skills. As well as giving you my tips and tricks, guidance and support.

Perhaps you are looking to study architecture at university? Or, you are a more advanced architecture student or professional? I believe I can help you to progress.

About the lesson

The first session is a chance for us to have a relaxed friendly chat so we can connect, get to know each other and define what you want to achieve and how I can best help you achieve your goals.

Whether that is for undergraduate or postgraduate architecture university applications, CV and portfolio preparations, or in your software skillset.

Our sessions will be tailored around you, which might include:

1. GENERAL DESIGN AND CONCEPT TUTORING

We can review your design work and portfolio to generate new innovative ideas and strategies to develop your representation, narrative and project.

2. PORTFOLIO BUILDING AND REVIEW

We can review and enhance your academic or professional architecture portfolio for its intended purpose, whether that is building on your existing document or starting one from scratch.

3. CV, PERSONAL STATEMENT AND INTERVIEW PREPARATION

We can lean on my personal experience to work together to give you a better chance at finding and landing the job or place at the university that you are hoping for. I can also assist with interview practice and interview techniques that have worked for me.

4. DIGITAL MODELLING, RENDERING AND REPRESENTATION SKILLS

I am an advanced user of Rhino, Enscape, V-Ray, Megascans and Photoshop. I can curate specific sessions and pathways for you to rapidly develop your digital modelling and representation techniques.
