About Emma

I have been playing the flute since the 6th grade. I have completed all of my high school's concert and marching band classes. I have participated in honor bands and played solos that I self-taught myself for family and church members. Currently, I have been self-teaching myself challenging music to help evolve my playing. I will be attending online at Nashville State this upcoming fall to evolve my education into music ed. Hopefully soon I will be able to teach you or your child into learning the basics of music.

About the lesson

In these lessons, I will teach the basics of the flute including the history of the flute, the parts of the flute, how to assemble it. I will then go over the basics of how to play, the proper technique, how much air is needed, and more. Then we will start reading some easy music and learning notes and their fingerings. Everything will go on how fast or slow of a learner you are and how prepared you feel on the information I had taught you.
