About Cole
I am a professional musician that holds a bachelor's degree in jazz studies - performance/composition and would love to share my knowledge with you! I've been playing bass guitar for 15 years and have developed a solid understanding of musicality, music theory, and technique.
Background in various styles of music such as jazz, funk, west african music, hip-hop, soul, rock, reggae, latin and more. From Jazz festivals to wallflower gigs I have a large range of experience and insight into performing in a variety of situations.
I believe that learning music should be fun, which is why I like to teach musical concepts through playing. Learning music doesn't require a one-size-fits-all approach, but rather an understanding of each student's learning style. We'll work together to find the path of least resistance to realizing your musical goals.
