About Tebogo

Hello, I'm Tebogo, an Economics Honors graduate from the University of Johannesburg and a Research and Insight Analyst with a passion for learning, teaching, and helping others reach their academic goals.

My journey in economics began with a curiosity about how businesses, markets, and societies make decisions. This passion led me to complete a degree in Economics and Econometrics, followed by an Honors degree in Economics. Along the way, I had the opportunity to work as a university tutor, where I discovered how rewarding it is to help students overcome challenges and build confidence in their abilities.

Today, I work in economic and ESG research, where I analyze market trends, policy developments, and business issues, while also producing research and insights for a wide audience. This allows me to bring real-world examples and practical applications into my lessons, making economics more relevant and easier to understand.

I believe every student can succeed with the right guidance, patience, and learning approach. My goal is not only to help students improve their marks but also to develop their confidence, critical thinking skills, and understanding of economics beyond the classroom.

Outside of academics, I enjoy research, data analysis, tennis, and continuous learning. I look forward to helping students achieve their goals and discover the value and excitement of economics.

About the lesson

I am an Economics Honors graduate from the University of Johannesburg with a strong background in Economics, Econometrics, research, and data analysis. As a former university tutor, I have helped students develop a deep understanding of Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Financial Economics, and Econometrics by breaking down complex concepts into simple, practical explanations.

My teaching approach focuses on understanding rather than memorization. I tailor lessons to each student's needs, identify knowledge gaps, and use real-world examples to make economic theories relevant and engaging. Whether you are preparing for exams, struggling with assignments, or aiming to improve your overall performance, I provide structured, supportive, and results-oriented lessons designed to build confidence and academic success.

Having worked both in academia and as a Research and Insight Analyst, I bring practical industry perspectives into my lessons, helping students connect classroom theory with real economic and business challenges.
