About Julie

As I have studied at numerous language schools, I know many teaching methods, I have even taken classes for many years with a Japanese woman from Kagoshima, and I am married to a native Japanese of Kyoto. I can adjust the class to the student's needs, be it focus on writing, speaking or reading.

About the lesson

My teaching method is usually focused on conversation, which I particularly consider the most important, however the writing of the 3 Japanese alphabets (hiragana, katakana and kanji) is what makes the Japanese language so interesting and unique. I love to introduce the language through culture, music, anime, manga and a lot of content. If you also have doubts about society and things that only natives understand, I can ask my husband Yusuke! It will be a pleasure to have you as a student.
