I've been teaching piano lessons for almost four years now. I mostly teach beginner level students main concepts based upon the rhythm patterns, note names, a variety of chords, intervals, music scales, and learning how to play fun, amazing songs.

I teach the basic concepts of the basic parts of the piano, know, identify the note names on the piano, and learn how to count the beats while playing music. While learning a new song, I have students play a few measures at a time in order for them to understand both the rhythm patterns and what notes they should be playing from a particular musical piece. After going over all the measures from the song, I have the student practice playing the whole entire song several times.
