About Logan

I recently graduated from the University of Alabama in Huntsville with my bachelor's degree in computer science. I have been an instructor teaching C++ to students over the past summer. My goal is to help establish an environment that encourages questions and fosters growth!

About the lesson

Hi there! Learning a new coding language can be difficult, my goal is to help you overcome challenges and reach your goals.

Lessons are based on your goals. I will develop a plan for you after the first lesson to help achieve those goals

My Teaching Methods:
- Break down topics into easily digestible pieces
- Establish an environment that encourages questions
- Utilize mistakes as an opportunity for growth

Typical Lesson Plan:
- Start with the overhead lesson
- Go into higher detail for each individual topic
- Provide coding exercise that compliments lesson/ topic covered

As a tutor, I encourage exploration and going into the unknown even when that means you may trip up along the way. Mistakes are opportunities for growth and are encouraged!

Overall a really great first session, Vashinka is very knowledgeable in C++. I feel like the only thing that needs work is being able to combine individual programming skills together when working on large-scale projects.
