About Talmage
I graduated with a bachelors degee in international relations and business. While I did not study music in college, I've taught guitar full-time over the last 8 years and have had over a hundred students. I've studied classical,rock, blues, jazz, and many other genres of music both on the guitar, piano, and in voice. I love music, the outdoors, my family, and the game of basketball!

I've never had a student I couldn't teach, or someone who I could help learn to play the guitar. My first guitar teacher ever told me I would never be a good guitarist, and I worked for 15 years to prove them wrong and let all my students become amazing guitarists as well. I'm personable, and can teach using whatever method helps you learn best, I love to challenge you, see you fail, and get you to your desired endpoint. I have confidence in you and in my teaching skills to get you where you want to be.
