Welcome to your first crochet course! This beginner-friendly program will guide you step by step, from holding the hook and yarn to completing your very first project. You’ll learn all the basic stitches—single crochet, double crochet, and chains—plus simple techniques like changing colors, counting stitches, and finishing off your work neatly.
Over five lessons, we’ll cover:
1. Getting Started: Tools, yarn types, holding the hook, and making your foundation chain.
2. Basic Stitches: Learn single crochet and double crochet, practice rows, and perfect your tension.
3. Simple Shapes: Make small squares or swatches, practice counting stitches, and optional color changes.
4. Finishing Techniques: Fasten off, weave in ends, and tips for neat, professional-looking projects.
5. Mini Project: Complete a small coaster, dishcloth, or scarf so you leave with a finished piece.
By the end of the course, you’ll have the skills and confidence to tackle more complex projects on your own—and maybe even start creating your own designs. No experience necessary—just bring your curiosity, some yarn, and a hook!
