Hello friend! My name is Maya and I am 22, but don’t be fooled, I have years of experience in casual hobbyist crochet as well as commission and small business work! I have devised a customizable curriculum based on experiences I have had teaching others in the past. Lessons are based around curriculum and charged by unit! Each unit is roughly a half hour, but I am willing to be flexible with each student as they go at their own pace. First lesson is free, given it is mostly explanation of the craft and how to find the correct materials for your project. First project is a simple chain, then we move into dishcloths, scarves, granny squares and bags, learning valuable skills which are applicable to many types of projects! We also cover pattern literacy and yarn label reading, and other practical skills beyond the actual crocheting!!
