About Sarah

Hello! My name is Sarah. I'm an 18-year-old final year polytechnic student, and playing the flute has been my passion for more than half my life. Over the years, I've been a part of two concert bands (in secondary school and polytechnic), both of which I have served at least one year as Section Leader, leading independent practice sessions with my section-mates.

I understand that music lessons tend to be on the pricier side, especially for professional tutors. However, as a student player with 9 years of experience on the instrument, I offer quality, affordable lessons for beginner flutists eager to learn the instrument.

About the lesson

- Focus on following well-renowned guidebooks (i.e "A New Tune A Day For Flute")while enhancing the student's personal strengths, applying them to nurture areas for improvement.

- 1.5 to 2 hours long per lesson

- Section Leader and Vice-President of secondary school concert band for 2 years, Section Leader in polytechnic concert band for 1 year; senior band student with experience in teaching and guiding juniors to their fullest potential during independent practice

- Lessons aimed at beginner flautists eager to pick up the instrument, ideally ages 10 and up! If they can already read notes that is a bonus, but no worries if not, I can help with that too
