About Jack
Golf has a funny way of humbling you… usually right after you think you’ve figured it out. I’m a golf tragic who genuinely loves the game — not just the good shots, but the frustrating ones too. I’m the founder and host of Major Winners, where I spend a lot of time around golf: playing it, talking about it, breaking it down, and trying to work out why some rounds click and others absolutely don’t. I’m not a swing coach and I won’t be pulling your grip apart or talking about plane lines. What I do focus on is the stuff most golfers don’t get enough help with — structure, clarity, and accountability. Most golfers I speak to don’t actually need more tips… they need: • A clear idea of what to practice • A simple plan they can stick to • Better decisions on the course • Someone to keep them honest and on track That’s where I come in. Sessions are relaxed, practical, and tailored to where you’re at. No jargon, no judgment, no pretending golf isn’t hard. Just honest conversations, smarter habits, and a better way to improve over time. If you’re chasing technical swing fixes, I’m probably not your guy. If you want a clearer plan, better routines, and someone in your corner, we’ll get along just fine.

These sessions are for beginner to mid-handicap golfers who want to improve but feel unsure what to practise or how to get consistent.
I’m not a swing coach and these are not technical swing lessons. Instead, the focus is on structure, accountability, and smarter ways to improve — the areas most everyday golfers struggle with.
Through my work on Major Winners, I’ve spent years immersed in golf — playing, analysing the game, and speaking with golfers at all levels. I help students simplify the game, practise with purpose, and make better decisions on the course.
In our sessions we focus on:
• Creating a clear practice structure you can stick to
• Course management and decision-making
• Scoring mindset and short-game focus (non-technical)
• Pre-round and post-round routines
• Accountability, goal-setting, and progress tracking
Lessons are supportive, practical, and tailored to your level. No technical overload — just clear direction and honest feedback.
If you’re looking for detailed swing mechanics, this won’t be the right fit.
If you want clarity, consistency, and a smarter approach to getting better, these sessions are designed for you.

Recommendations come from relatives, friends and acquaintances of the teacher
Jack is a very adaptable teacher, he focuses on personal abilities and matching tutorials to suit. He helps work on my weaknesses and sharpen my skills with monthly checkups and setting homework of repeatable practice
I have known Jack for over 15 years and he is one of my closest friends. I am the godmother to his daughter, so I have seen firsthand the kind of father and role model he is.
His teaching style is patient, encouraging, and calm. He takes the time to explain things clearly and never rushes or makes anyone feel uncomfortable while learning.
I have watched him teach his children with incredible patience and consistency, always adapting to their pace and making learning feel positive. He has also taught me how to play golf, approaching it with the same level of care, patience, and.. good humor.
I recommend him because he is genuinely invested in helping others learn and improve. He is reliable, thoughtful, and brings both skill, kindness and fun to everything he teaches.Jack brings humour and passion to his tutoring. He helped me set goals and then motivate me to achieve them. Highly recommend working with him!
Played golf with Jack many times and each time he’s provided easy to understand advice which has helped my game. The added bonus is he’s a great guy who is very friendly. Highly recommend.
