About Zaid
Zaid Al-Rikabi is a freelance musician and composer, an actor and puppeteer. He also has produced several shows that have toured internationally. As well as working in traditional theatre Zaid also writes for, produces, directs and performs in a music project called "The People's String Foundation" which is in its thirteenth year. He has composed music for 13 productions. These companies include Kneehigh Theatre (FUP), Trebiggan Productions (formerly Bish Bash Bosh), Rogue Theatre (Mr. Zablionio), the Minack Theatre (Goodnight Mr. Tom, The Railway Children, The Secret Garden and The Lighthouse Keepers Lunch) and Cousin Jacks (Operation Neptune, Promenading piece) In 2018 The People’s String Foundation were awarded A.C.E funding to produce a live multi media performance event called “Res Publica”, and has so far enjoyed over 60 performances and 20 community workshops. Zaid is writer, producer, band leader, conductor and workshop leader, and excels in rural touring settings including village halls and primary schools with workshops.

Hi, I’m a guitarist offering relaxed, beginner-friendly guitar lessons for children (7+) and adults in Trowbridge. My lessons are ideal if you’re completely new to the guitar, or if you’ve tried learning before and found it confusing or frustrating. I focus on clear explanations, confidence-building, and learning real music from the very first lesson. I teach acoustic and electric guitar, and lessons are always tailored to the individual — we go at your pace and keep things enjoyable. Approach / Teaching Method I specialise in beginners and early-stage players. Lessons are structured but relaxed, with a strong focus on: • Basic chords and rhythm • Playing recognisable songs • Good technique without pressure • Building confidence and enjoyment No grades, exams, or previous experience required. Who Are My Lessons For? • Complete beginners • Children aged 7+ • Adults returning to guitar • Anyone who wants a calm, supportive learning environment
