About Kimberly
I have 3 years of experience teaching guitar privately to students of all ages and skill levels. With a degree in Music Performance and over 15 years of playing experience, I bring both technical skill and real-world musical insight to every lesson. Achievement: I created a simple “5-Song Starter Pack” lesson plan that guarantees a new beginner can play at least five popular songs (or parts of them) within their first month of lessons. I focus on making music theory easy to understand and directly useful from day one, helping each student build confidence, musical awareness, and joy in their playing — whether on acoustic or electric guitar.

Fun and practical online lessons that prioritize getting the student to play music right away. We start with simple open chords, rhythmic strumming, and easy songs. As students progress, we move into fingerpicking styles, introductory music theory (intervals and scales), and developing a strong sense of rhythm. Suitable for both electric and acoustic players.
